Infants (Caterpillar & Minnow)
Our program provides a warm, welcoming environment where your baby can grow from a bundle of joy to a bundle of curiosity. Your baby’s primary caregiver is a nurturing child development professional who is focused on creating experiences and opportunities that invite exploration and support the rapid and important development that is occurring in your child’s first year. The learning environment encourages movement, language development and natural growth as babies explore a variety of materials to engage all senses.
Toddlers (Duckling, Turtle & Grasshopper)
Even at this early age, children establish patterns of activity that carry on through the rest of childhood. Each new skill lets them progress to the next one, building on a foundation that leads to more complicated physical tasks. We give our toddlers many opportunities to practice their developing skills while providing supervision so they stay safe while they learn. Providing toddlers with cuddle and affection is an enjoyable part of our day. A combination of independence and nurturing experiences are provided for our toddlers.
Young Preschool (Waterlily & Gosling)
Our young preschool is designed to meet the needs of each child socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. Our goal is to prepare children for their preschool years and help them develop their communication skills and their ability to share and explore with other children. Children practice skill building, independence and complete potty-training.
Preschool Program (Swan, Salamander, Firefly & Dragonfly)
Our preschool program is filled with investigation, exploration, and discovery where active and enthusiastic children can refine and expand their skills and knowledge. Through intentional teaching practices, purposefully-designed learning environments and enriched activities, our teachers ensure your preschooler will have a joyful, appropriate and meaningful learning experience that leads to success in school, and in life.
Our preschool program helps children advance their skills in pre-academic areas such as literacy, math, and science, as well as in other essential areas such as art, social and emotional well being, and health and wellness. Our child-centered approach ensures that children are exposed to a diverse array of learning activities and that they thrive in all areas of child development, creative thinking, problem solving, empathetic collaboration, curious investigation and astute decision-making.
School age (Blue Heron)
Bullfrogs & Butterflies provides care to school age children before school, after school and during breaks. Breakfast is offered before school and a snack after school. The classroom has age appropriate toys, puzzles, games and books. The art center is full of craft materials to encourage imagination. Each child’s after school experience can be designed to meet the individual’s needs. Parents can work with the teacher to plan time for homework help, creative work, reading or relaxing. Transportation is provided to many local public and private schools. Please check with the center director for a list of schools we are currently transporting to and from.
